GTA 6 spoilers: Cyberleek quits leaking, how to block the rest
Cyberleek says he has GTA 6's ending and won't post it. Here's how to keep your feeds spoiler-free until November 19.
GTA 6 leaker Cyberleek announced on October 14 that the leaks are stopping "for now" and that no playable build is coming. The catch: he still claims to have the game's ending and mentions a "dead man's switch," so if you want to go in blind, now is the time to lock down your feeds.
What Cyberleek actually said on October 14
Days after threatening to dump the full game if his crypto token hit a $30 million market cap (we broke that down in our report on Cyberleek's full-game leak threat), the leaker backed off. In a three-part post titled "End of the road," covered by Kotaku and Dexerto, he said:
- No build: "The 30M was not reached, so no build."
- The ending stays private, for now: he claims "CL has the ending. It was considered," but says releasing it would "ruin the experience for the gamers."
- One last batch: short clips he describes as coming from the final missions, "out of context, revealing nothing."
- A loaded threat: if someone takes him down, an automated "dead man's switch" would release story spoilers.
- Site offline: his website is gone, and he denies "rug pull" accusations, insisting "the token was always a donation, never an investment."
Rockstar and Take-Two haven't said anything publicly about the October leaks. Back in August, though, Take-Two subpoenaed Microsoft and Discord for account records, IP addresses and server data tied to the "cyberleek" persona, according to Push Square, and Dexerto reports the investigation is still ongoing.
The GTA 6 leak timeline at a glance
| When | What happened | How solid is it? |
|---|---|---|
| August 2026 | First gameplay clips attributed to Cyberleek; Rockstar calls the leaks heartbreaking for the team | Official reaction |
| Late August | Take-Two subpoenas Microsoft and Discord to unmask the leaker | Reported by multiple outlets |
| October 8 | Roughly 25 minutes of work-in-progress gameplay | No Rockstar comment |
| Early October | Full-game dump threatened if token reaches $30M | Target missed |
| October 14 | "Final mission" clips, leaks paused "for now" | Leaker's claim, unverifiable |
Our take: the copycats are the bigger risk
Does Cyberleek really have the ending? Nobody outside Rockstar can confirm it, and someone who sold a token off the back of stolen footage isn't exactly a reliable narrator. But for most players, the real danger over the next five weeks isn't him. It's the reupload accounts slapping "GTA 6 ENDING LEAKED?!" on recycled clips, and the fake videos built purely to farm clicks. On top of that, mega-launches almost always see review copies and early retail copies slip out in the final days. Our advice is simple: set up your filters today, not on November 18.
GTA 6 spoiler blocker: a platform-by-platform setup
There's no official spoiler blocker, but every major app has a built-in tool. No sketchy downloads required.
- X: Notifications > gear icon > Muted > Muted words > Add. One word or hashtag at a time, applied to your Home timeline and Notifications. Pick "Forever," because the timed options top out at 30 days, which ends before launch. Then clear the list once you've rolled credits. Heads up: muting doesn't filter Search.
- TikTok: in Settings, under Content preferences, use the video keyword filter. You can add up to 100 keywords, and TikTok's smart filtering can catch close variations too.
- Reddit: there's no keyword mute for regular users, but you can mute an entire community from its page. Handy for leak subs that keep surfacing in your feed.
- YouTube: hit "Not interested" or "Don't recommend channel" on anything suspicious. The algorithm adapts fast.
- Discord: ask the servers you're in to use ||spoiler tags|| and a dedicated spoiler channel.

Whatever you do, don't mute "GTA 6" itself. You'd miss real news like a possible Trailer 3 (see our breakdown of when GTA 6 Trailer 3 could drop) and the unlock times in our GTA 6 release time guide for the US, UK and Canada.
Already ran into a leak?
Don't click, don't share. Beyond spoilers, plenty of links promising "the full build" or "the ending video" exist mainly to push people onto shady pages. GTA 6 is still dated for November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and nothing beats seeing it for the first time with a controller in your hands.
FAQ
Will Cyberleek leak the GTA 6 ending?
He says no: he claims to have it but chose not to release it. He also says a dead man's switch would post story spoilers if he's "removed." None of this can be independently verified.
Are the GTA 6 leaks real?
Rockstar didn't deny the summer footage and called the leaks heartbreaking for its team. The clips appear to come from in-development builds, so they may not reflect the final game.
Is there a GTA 6 spoiler blocker?
Not an official one. Your best bet is the built-in filters on X, TikTok, Reddit and YouTube listed above.
So, have you seen any of the leaked footage, or did you dodge it all? Tell us in the comments, and send this to the friend who's one scroll away from getting the ending spoiled. One more thing: our Discord is giving away 2 copies of GTA 6 until November 19.
