GTA 6 lands Game Informer's cover: 12 new screenshots, Jason and Lucia like never before
14 pages, 12 new screenshots, exclusive art and details about Leonida's weather and wildlife: here's everything Game Informer revealed.
With 50 days to go, Rockstar is finally opening the floodgates. Game Informer issue 382 (October 2026) dedicates a 14-page cover story to Grand Theft Auto VI, packed with content you won't find anywhere else.
What's inside
- 12 brand-new screenshots featuring both leads, wildlife and several open-world locations.
- Exclusive artwork of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
- Interviews about Vice City and the state of Leonida, GTA's take on Florida.
- Advanced weather that also simulates Florida's "less sunny" phenomena. Think tropical storms, not just blue skies.
- Wildlife, plus how Rockstar researched Miami and Florida to build an "interactive Leonida."
Why it matters
Since Trailer 2 (May 2025), official info has been scarce. This feature confirms what fans hoped for: a world that feels alive and unpredictable, where weather and animals are more than set dressing.
Our take: if weather really affects driving, chases and heists, GTA 6 could have the most "alive" open world ever made.
